Pastor of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church

Both Pastor Shawn and Sis. Beth Garnett are natives of Wilson County. After many years of service on the evangelistic field, God called them home to take over the leadership of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church.

Being foster parents for many years, they have adopted three beautiful children. They continue to speak at Foster Care events and other occasions put on by the City of Wilson.

Pastor Garnett also serves as our National Evangelist Department Director for the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.

They are working to make a difference in this world along with their children - Breanna, Luke, Olivia, Dalila, Davin, and Marc.

Their vision for revival and commitment to the truth of God's Word has led the Lighthouse to a latter day revival. They continue to lead the church forward, reaching to anyone and everyone in the community.

Student Pastor of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church

While Breanna is a native to Wilson, Nate moved here from Northeast Louisiana in 2016. They would marry in 2018 and take on the role as student pastor and worship leaders. They have lead worship all around the world for many years, at national conferences and in the missions field.

Nate also serves as our National KidzQuest Director, and Southeastern District Student Ministries Director, for the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Together, they lead our students with love, understanding, and laughter. It is their desire that young people all over the globe would come to know Jesus and experience the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Sunday School Superintendent of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church

Paul is a native to Wilson, while Shannon moved here from Indiana in 2018 when they married. They lead the Sunday School department where Paul is the Superintendent and Shannon teaches in a Sunday school class.

Paul also serves as the Southeastern World Mission’s Director for the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, while Shannon is the Southeastern District Women’s Esprit Vice President.

Together they serve the kingdom of God where needed. Both are actively involved in the church in various ministries from cleaning to ensuring that there is a friendly face to greet you at every service.
